Several times a year the Lolland Centre conducts meditation courses with lamas and other Buddhist teachers. Particularly lama Ole Nydahl’s annual summer course attracts Buddhists from all over the world.
The centre’s buildings are situated like a small oasis in the middle of Lolland’s great expanse of agricultural fields. The place is well known for its peace and quiet: It offers optimal conditions for the practice of meditation.
The meditation room is always open. With 140 m2 the room is able to accommodate many practitioners at the same time. Depending on weather conditions it is also possible to meditate at the Enlightenment Stupa in the centre of the courtyard.
The centre has about 20 single and double rooms used for personal retreats. The grounds surrounding the buildings are used for growing the organic vegetables included the meals offered at the centre.
